The worst hotel in Bangkok, The Twin Towers Hotel

Among the many hotels we have visited in Thailand, the one that gave us the worst experience by far was the Twin Towers Hotel in Bangkok that we stayed in March 2009.

I have to warn every single one of our loyal fans - do not visit this hotel please.

My friends booked a suit on the executive floor for us. The room might not be so bad, if you did not care the loud noise and laughter from the street, even if when you were on the 10th floor.

Air condition was freezing when it was on, but the room was way too hot when it was off. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to set the temperature.

Moreover, the hotel lied in the Internet about the free use of its Amigos Lounge. When we checked in, we also got coupon for breakfast at the place, so we were surprised to find out that this Amigos Lounge no longer existed, because the hotel already had it closed some time in the past.

Then, there was food at the hotel restaurant which was very, very, very bad and ugly, for both Thais and foreigners alike. The hotel food could not even be compared with the far more delicious simple street food.

The reception staffs also helped to add more negative impression with their bad and ugly manner, never uttering any nice or polite word.

We were also surprised by the hotel's trickiness on charging a crazy room fee. I found that the hotel asked for 50,000 Thai Baht, or about 1,060 Euro or 1,410 USD according to xe.com as of 31th March 2009.

What happened to the integrity in the people running this hotel?

How could they survive the current financial crisis behaving in such shameful manner to guests?
